This is a tight little jazz-soul band from Mill Valley, California. Give Time A Chance is taken from this 1980 debut album on Fleur Records, California.

The band are Jules Broussard; tenor & alto sax, Percy Scott: keyboards; Glenn Howell: fender bass, John Thibodeaux Jr: guitar; Mark Lee: drums; David Gardner & Rahni Kugel: vocals.

There is another nice 2Step production with Through It All and a nice ballad on Just Say You'll Stay written by the drummer Mark Lee. Big production stings by Marvin Williams, and horns: Danny Armstrong. Fool That I Am is a fine Modern track waiting to be discovered.

Broussard has been part of Santana (1972-3), played on Bettye Davis and Johnny Otis albums. He still tours today but with a different band line-up, as far as I can tell this album is shit-rare so, I can't put a price on it as yet - open to offers though.
