I Can't Forget About You is an orchestral masterpiece and it's not surprising as Ronn watched Motown legend producer Norman Whitfield at work at Motown for many years, infact Motown wanted to sign him up as a writer but he refused. Though all the credit can't be given to one man, this is where Michael Stokes comes in. Stokes was responsible for much of the fine ballad work of Detroit's Enchantment. (listen to PCRL Enchantment special). Ronn had wrote songs for Bobby Taylor and The Originals.

Love City was recorded at The Sound Suite Studio in Detroit using the Detroit Symphony Horns. The album has long been sort after for the sort after 2Step classic I Can't Forget About You. Other highlights on the album are You Got The Best Of Me and Take Me To The Top Of Your Mountain a love ballad. While Ronn was working on this album he also penned Keith Barrow's You Know You Wanna Be Loved, another 2Step classic, sadly though Barrow died not long after his second album. Ronn also wrote for Shirley Ceasar's album From The Heart.

He was also a good friend and wrote for Eddie Kendricks, you'll find his songs on Eddie Kendricks' Arista album Something More, and Atlantic's Love Keys. Matlock's Ev'ry Little Bit helped Millie Scott's career and Merry Clayton redid Heavenly Father for Miracles Records (1994). Ron was Born in Detroit 15 September, 1947, the talented song writer is happily married to Bernadine; the couple have two children, Keli and Kristopher, and now live in Las Vegas.
